When is a good time to seal a deck?
The best time to seal a deck is in the spring, summer or fall, when the temperature is above 50°F

Can you wash and seal a deck in on the same day?
No. We allow the deck to dry for at least 12 hours before the stain is applied.

How long does stain last?
Depending on your deck's environmental exposure, such as direct sunlight and precipitation, stain can last up to 2 to 3 years. Certain decks require yearly maintenance

Does power washing damage the wood in my deck?
If your deck is power washed by a professional, it should not be. Proper training and knowledge is necessary when restoring a wood deck. We do not recommend a do-it-yourself job. Damages as a result from improper usage can permanently damage your deck and board replacement will become necessary.

Are the cleaning solutions PWC uses safe?
All of our products are 100% biodegradable and environmentally safe.

Why does the color I chose from the brochure look different on my deck?
Just like fingerprints, no 2 pieces of wood are the same. Each piece of wood will hold color differently because of the pores in the wood and the luminosity (light or dark qualities) of the lumber. The swatches in the brochure are a reference.

How much does it cost to restain my deck?
